The Breakthrough Fusion Competition is the first-ever competition of its kind in the bellydance community.

This is a FUSION-ONLY competition - That’s right... No traditional Middle Eastern categories. No traditional music. No ATS! This is about innovation and the future of the art.

Also a first: our panel of respected judges give critique “American Idol” style... on stage, on mic, immediately after the performer finishes. No waiting to receive your score cards in the mail, no confusion in the audience about what the judges might be thinking.

This year we’re expanding the BFC, adding a day of Workshops + a slumber party on Saturday, January 2nd, in addition to the Competition & Show on Sunday, January 3rd.

Some details for this years event are still being added, but registration is open, giving competitors an opportunity to get started on creating their winning entries!

The BFC will be held at Temple Nightclub's gorgeous PRANA bar & restaurant. Enjoy luxurious decor, comfy seating, and delicious cocktails (please bring ID, as the event is all ages).
